As promised, in my previous unboxing, I will be unboxing two Fairyloot book boxes this month. This time, I’ll discuss their very first Adult book-only box called “Dark Academia”.
About Fairyloot
Fairyloot is one of the best known UK book boxes that ship internationally. They offer two types of subscription plans: Young Adult (book box with goodies or book-only) and Adult (book-only). In most cases, their featured books are fantasy books. Next to their monthly subscription, they also have special edition boxes and exclusive editions.

The book
The featured book is The Atlas Six by Olivie Blake, which is without a doubt one of the most popular releases of the moment (it’s actually a new version of a previously self-published book). The Fairyloot edition has an exclusive cover, digitally sprayed edges, artwork on the endpapers, foil embossing, and a digital signature. What I particularly love about this edition is that it also has illustrations throughout the book.
I’ve heard many mixed reviews about this book. Nevertheless, I’ve also seen almost crazy scenes as people try to get hold of the different special editions, so I assume it will be brilliant. It’s about a secret society of magical academics. Sounds very much like what I would have liked to do with my life if I’m honest :p
Part two of The Atlas Series, The Atlas Paradox, can already be pre-ordered and I’m sure Fairyloot will announce their edition soon too.
