The design of Fairyloot‘s Young Adult book of May 2023 took my breath away. It is simply stunning!
About Fairyloot
Fairyloot is one of the best known UK book boxes that ship internationally. They offer two types of subscription plans: Young Adult (book box with goodies or book-only) and Adult (book-only). In most cases, their featured books are fantasy books. Next to their monthly subscription, they also have special edition boxes and exclusive editions.

The goodies

- A notebook, inspired by the legend of the Elixir of Life (design by @blanca.design)
- A Valkyrie helmet enamel pin (design by @no0neDesigns)
- A wooden postcard depicting Mount Olympus (art by @vitkovskaya_art)
The box also included the next set of tarot cards, inspired by the book of the month. The set consists of the Seven and Eight of Stars.
The book
The featured book of the month is Divine Rivals by Rebecca Ross. According to the spoiler card, this book is a historical Romantasy filled with magical letters, mysterious disappearances, and malevolent gods.
The Fairyloot edition has an exclusive cover, a digital sprayed edge with block sprayed top and bottom edge, foiled character artwork on the endpapers, foiling on the hardcover, bonus content, and a digital signature. The box also contained a letter from the author.
