Book Reviews
If you are interested in getting your book reviewed, please contact me so that we can discuss further. I generally prefer Romantic Fantasy, Dark Romance, Young Adult & New Adult Fiction. However, I’m open to discuss any other genre as well (including non-fiction). I also accept review requests for ARCs and early copies (physical & digital). Usually, I prefer to read in English. However, I’m also willing to consider Dutch requests. Please note that due to health concerns, I will have to be selective in the requests I accept. I also do no longer accept deadlines of less than a month.
If you ask me for a review, I will always provide you with my honest opinion. We’ll align on the release date together, and if you want, I can send you the review before publishing it. I will use my gemstone rating system (I am a Book Dragon, afterall), which is quite straightforward: I award each book with 0 to 5 gemstones, as illustrated below.
If I cannot honestly give a rating of at least 3 out of 5 gemstones, I will contact you to explain why and will not publish a negative review about your work (unless you want me to publish it anyway). Please note that 3 gemstones is considered a positive score in my system. If you are uncomfortable with that, please let me know upfront so that I won’t publish the review if my score is below 4. I do not increase scores, however.
All reviews will be published on this blog, on Amazon (if possible), and on my social media. By default, that means: Goodreads, Bookbub, Storygraph, and Instagram. Depending on your wishes, I can also publish on Facebook. I’m also a member of several review groups on Facebook where I can promote your book. On Instagram, I generally make at least the three following types of posts: “currently reading”, “review” and a general promotion post. Of course, we can adapt this further to your wishes! If your publisher allows reviews on their website, I will add the review there as well. I will also include links to Amazon whenever possible (or to shops chosen by you).
Interviews
I also publish interviews with authors, publishers etc. I can provide you with a set of questions by email, we can create the questions together or we can even do a video interview. Don’t hestitate to reach out if you would like to discuss this further!
Events & Promotional posts
Whether you plan an event, a book release, a cover reveal or a giveaway, I can create a fitting blog post that works for the occasion. The options are endless, so let’s brainstorm!.
Guest blogging
