The Illumicrate January 2023 book is without a doubt one of the most beautiful special editions I’ve seen in a while. Curious to discover more? Read on!
About Illumicrate
Illumicrate is one of the best known UK book boxes that ship internationally. They offer both a full box and a book-only subscription, and the books they feature are generally YA fantasy, but they also include other genres and adult books. Next to their monthly subscription, they also have special edition boxes and exclusive editions.

The book
The featured book of the month is Godkiller by Hannah Kaner. As mentioned before, this is one of the most beautiful editions I’ve seen in a while. The Illumicrate edition has an exclusive cover, digitally printed edges, foiled endpapers, full-colour printing on the hardback, and is signed.
Blurb:
“In a world where gods are outlawed, one mercenary makes her living killing deities. When faced with a god bound to a young girl, they must team up with a retired knight and journey to find the answers they all seek.”
